In-House Courses
We are pleased to offer individual organisations additional Workshops to those that are included in our Regional Programmes. We offer training on nearly all aspects of HB and CTB, with John Zebedee presenting all of the courses. Workshops can be ‘tailored’ to fit specific training needs. Please note that our Workshops are normally provided for a group maximum of around 20-24 people.
In-house Workshops At Your Own Training Venue
For individual organisations with a large number of their own staff requiring training, e.g. usually our initial ‘HB for Front Line Staff’ or ‘Getting Housing Benefit Started’ Workshops, then we can provide a course at your own training venue. Please note that all participants must be from the same organisation unless agreed otherwise with us by prior arrangement, and the booking organisation makes all the venue arrangement for the day. Workshops are quoted at a fixed fee which is inclusive of all the tutor’s expenses, accommodation and comprehensive course notes. For courses on consecutive days, or a pre-booked series of courses, discounts will apply – please contact us with your specific requirements.
Working In Partnership With Individual Organisations
We are pleased to work with either individual organisations or partnership organisations at providing courses they require in a particular region – providing of course that this will not conflict with our own regularly advertised courses in the area. We are also keen to ensure that members of smaller organisations who are not part of a regional training partnership are not disadvantaged from receiving our HB/CTB training opportunities. We will therefore not provide a Workshop in an area that could risk the viability of any our own Regional Workshops that are planned, as cancelling events afterwards due to low interest as a result of a competing Workshop in the area causes disappointment to those that wish to book on them. We must therefore ask for confirmation of any partnership courses to be made at least three months in advance in order for them not to conflict with any plans that we may have for advertising a similar Workshop in the same region. This also helps to ensure our costs can be kept as low as possible by avoiding abortive advertising of courses.
We can also work with an organisation to devise a specific programme they may have in mind for a small group of their own staff and agree the number of places they will require. We would work closely with this organisation to organise a Workshop at a local hotel venue, make all the necessary arrangements, and could then advertise any surplus places to other organisations in the region. The service would include us providing all the administration, venue and hotel arrangements, course packs, lunch and course notes.

Workshop Dates
Subject to existing commitments and reasonable flexibility over the setting of dates then we can offer in-house courses throughout the UK. However, due to the commitments of our trainer and a very high demand for our courses please provide as much advance notice as possible.
